Dayset Privacy Policy

2Labs ("we") respects the privacy of Dayset app ("the app") users and complies with applicable laws. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is protected.

Summary

Your photos and videos are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to our servers.
There are no accounts, and we do not collect personally identifying information such as your name or email.
We only collect anonymized app usage statistics (Firebase Analytics).

1. Photo Library Access

The app requests photo library access to select and display the photos used to create videos. All photo analysis (such as similar-photo grouping) and video generation happen on your device. Your photos, videos, and their metadata are never transmitted to or stored on external servers. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.

2. Information We Collect

Anonymous usage statistics — screen visits, number of videos created and exported, paywall impressions, etc. Collected via Google Firebase Analytics and never used to identify individuals. (Firebase Privacy)
Subscription status — payments and subscription management are handled by the Apple App Store. We have no access to your payment details and only verify whether a subscription is active.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Personally identifying information such as name, email, or phone number (there is no account system)
Photos, videos, or their metadata (including location data)
Other device data such as contacts, microphone, or camera

4. Retention and Deletion

Videos and settings created by the app are stored only on your device and are deleted when you delete the app. Anonymous usage statistics are automatically deleted according to Firebase's retention policy (up to 14 months).

5. Third Parties

We do not sell or share your information with third parties. No external service receives your data other than Google Firebase for anonymous statistics.

6. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
